Catholic Education Wagga Wagga

This year, a3 has forged a wonderful new relationship with the Catholic Education Diocese in Wagga Wagga, to deliver a choral development program to its Stage 2 and 3 students.

During Term 2, a3 has been working with over 400 students from Coleambally, Narrandera, Leeton, Tocumwal, Finley, Jerilderie, Urana and Berrigan. The students have loved learning the diverse repertoire delivered by our tutors, who travel over 1600 kilometres each week to visit the eight primary schools.

Students from grades 2 to 6 have the opportunity to participate in music, singing and dance during the classroom-based sessions, with a focus on joining in and having fun! We’ve loved seeing the progression in the students – not only in terms of their performance, but also developing confidence, encouraging each other and working as a team.

The program will culminate in two performances on 28th and 29th of June, and we look forward to working with the remaining schools in the Diocese in Terms 3 and 4.
